Each part of the course of the program, especially in the areas of housekeeping, maintenance, and customer service were of value to me. The program can be applied to not only our work place but to other areas of our lives as well. It will also help to improve my effectiveness on the job which I enjoy doing very much. The instructor has a very unique style of his own, and he explained things in such an understandable manner! He is great at explaining and clarifying information. I would readily attend other courses that he teaches.

The part of the program that was of the most value to me was learning about customer service and its relevance when working with other departments and guests in general. For me, it reinforced why everyone who works in the industry needs to be professional at all times. Now I am more informed about my day-to-day duties, and how to interact with my coworkers and guests alike. The training was right on the mark, and dealt with challenges we face on a daily basis. The instructor was very precise and straight to the point. Yes, I would like to further my communications skills and my ability to thrive in the hotel environment.

The videos that were shown on housekeeping roles and procedures to be used for our guests’ comfort, were the most valuable part of the program for me. I was made aware of my responsibilities, and how I can use them effectively to do my job. The course was plain and simple, and easily understood. I really enjoyed the participation and interaction with my coworkers.

The videos were the most valuable aspect of the program. They demonstrated how to function and correct errors that we make on the job. I would recommend the program to others because it shows how valuable our jobs and the relationship it has with other departments. The program made me more alert and knowledgeable about how to spot the needs of our guests. The instructor was very clear and to the point. I hope he returns to conduct future training sessions to our new associates and disgruntled workers.

Learning the correct procedures to perform my job in housekeeping was the best part of the program for me. Before taking the course, I was not aware of the proper procedures and approaches to use to keep my customers satisfied. This is a first class hotel, so I want to play a part in making them come back to visit again and again. I also liked the instructor’s teaching style which was relaxed and very informative.

Safety & Security was the most important part of my training. It’s something that I have to use in my personal and business life. I knew a lot of do’s and don’ts but never really knew the actual reasons. The instructor really clarified my misconceptions. His method of teaching made the course easy to understand. He was very down-to-earth and very approachable.

The workshop on Maintenance Procedures was of great importance to me because I learnt all or most of the responsibilities of my position. I would recommend this program to anyone who is in the business or not, since the information can be used in the workplace, in the home, and on a day-to-day basis. The instructor made sure we all understood the material before he would move to the next topic. I want to attend other courses he teaches because of his ability to impart information that can be understood by everyone.

Great customer service begins and ends with each individual worker no matter what department he/she works in. All areas of the workshop were informative and interesting. The hospitality industry is a cycle and we all need to support each other in order to accomplish our mission and goal. It is an excellent opportunity for newcomers to experience what should be done and a great refresher for those of us who are already in the industry. I want to grow and learn more about the hospitality industry. I enjoyed the instructor’s teaching techniques, he is very good at what he does. Keep up the good work!
