The most important part of the presentation was in the area of guest misrepresentation, and how it pervades our society.  It really opened my eyes not only to what can happen when it occurs, but the proper techniques for handling them.  It also taught me to not only be a security officer, but how to be more involved in keeping track of illegal activities in my surroundings, and the benefits of logging all incidents in a report.  The instructor was very clear, and ensured we all understood the topic before moving on to something else.

All parts of the program were very well done and useful to me.  I would recommend this program to others who are in this industry because a lot of employees and some managers do not have a clue as to what really goes on in the hospitality industry.  I personally will use the information to teach my staff about the seriousness of loss prevention and hotel safety for not only ourselves but for all our guests.  The training was very appropriate and well done.  The instructor was excellent, and I would like to see him come back to do future seminars.
